Product description

Elevate your dining table with this colourful fair trade table runner. Handmade from recycled sari fabric, each product is handwoven on a traditional loom. Due to its handmade nature, each product will vary slightly in colour and print.

This item is crafted with a love for craft and tradition, which makes each thread truly unique.

Made from left-over materials discarded from factories. Artisans wash them, dry them and then cut them into pieces. Woven them on a traditional 100-year-old loom that doesn’t use electricity. By working with recycled fabrics we are contributing to making the fashion industry more sustainable. Hand made in Nepal by female producers. Made through Fair Trade practises.

    • Size: 276 x 36cm.
    • Care: Due to the fact that the product is handmade we recommend that you wash the products with cold water and allow them to dry flat.

Supporting and purchasing handmade products created by artisans living in poverty, provides them with positive livelihoods. Fair trade products actively support Fair Trade and Anti-Slavery initiatives. Standing up for people in need for the present and future. (12934)

I gave this to my teenage daughters who loved the colour and feel. It protects their large dresser in their room and looks amazing. But the very best part they said was that it was for helping people in need. Love that!
