The Leprosy Mission Australia strives to eliminate the stigma and discrimination that is associated with leprosy. Our mission as an organisation, is to work with people affected by leprosy, through facilitating medical care, restoring broken lives, creating livelihood initiatives and inspiring communities to join us in positively changing society's perceptions and having a positive impact on the lives of those affected by leprosy.

TLMA Shop sees people affected by leprosy and disability in a dignified light, because of the discrimination and injustice they face every day. We commit to partnering and supporting the training of artisan producers and working side-by-side, to ensure that marginalised people affected by leprosy, poverty & disability have a dignified source of income & a hopeful future.

We aim for a better future by making trade fair & improving the living conditions of all people living in poverty across the world. That's why we care about sustainability in our sourcing of products & transparency in how we work with our partners, locally & internationally, to ensure everyone involved is treated fairly.  

We believe that when we empower people affected by leprosy, disability & living under poor conditions, we can empower entire communities. That's why we've partnered with our artisan producers. All proceeds generated through this store will allow us to extend the hand of 'mateship' to all of those who have been affected by the harmful effects of leprosy, poverty and disability currently in India, Nepal, Nigeria and Timor Leste.
