  • By joining, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.

3. Earning Impact Points

  • Points are calculated on the total paid for products (excludes GST), excluding:

  • Donations or donation type items

  • Gifts of Love (considered donations)

  • Gift cards

  • Postage fees and applicable taxes

  • You must be logged into your Leprosy Mission Shop account at the time of purchase to earn and redeem points. Points will not be adjusted manually if a customer forgets to log in when wanting to earn or redeem points.

  • The Leprosy Mission Shop Australia reserves the right to adjust or reverse points in cases of refund, cancellation, or error.

  • All point tiers are reset and apply only to the calendar year.

4. Bonus Points

From time to time, The Leprosy Mission Shop may offer promotional opportunities to earn additional Impact Points — for example:

  • Impact Points can be redeemed for discounts on eligible online product purchases made through shop.leprosymission.org.au.

  • Redemption value: 100 Impact Points = $1 off your order.

  • Customers can use only some of their Impact points for a reward, where they can use a points slider when redeeming to select the exact number of points they want to spend to redeem a portion of a reward.

  • Redemption of points cannot be combined with other promotional codes unless stated.

  • Impact Points are earned on the rewardable total of each order — this is the product purchase amount subtotal excluding taxes, freebies/free gift, shipping, discounts, general donations, and Gifts of Love.

Example: If a $5.00 product includes $1.18 GST, points are earned on the $3.82 subtotal only.

  • Points are not awarded on any donation amounts or Gifts of Love, as these are considered charitable gifts rather than product purchases.

  • The Leprosy Mission Shop Australia reserves the right to manage points manually if order values or eligibility are reviewed and adjusted after purchase.

6. Expiry and Account Activity

  • Impact Points expire 12 months after the date they were earned, unless otherwise stated. i.e. purchase on 1/10/2025, will have valid points till 30/9/2026

  • If no qualifying purchase activity occurs within a 12-month period, your points are unredeemed and accumulated points will be forfeited.

7. Tier Qualification and Annual Review

  • Impact Rewards tiers are based on your total eligible spend within a calendar year (1 January to 31 December).

  • Tier progress resets at the beginning of each new calendar year.

  • Impact Rewards tiers are based on a calendar year cycle (1 January – 31 December).
Your total eligible spend or points earned within that year determines your tier for both the remainder of the current year and the entire following year.

  • For example, if you reach the Change Maker tier in November 2025, you will keep that tier for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026.

  • To maintain it for 2027, you’ll need to meet the same spend or points requirement again during 2026.
If you don’t, your tier will be recalculated based on your total points or spend earned during that calendar year.

8. Returns and Adjustments

  • If you return an item purchased using Impact Points, the points used for that purchase will be reissued. This expiry is the date the points are reissued.

  • If you return an item for which you earned points, the corresponding points will be deducted from your account.

  • If a reward coupon is used on a purchase, and then later the purchase is returned, the used reward coupon will not automatically be reissued. A manual adjust will be needed for the customers’ points balance to reinstate the points spent on the reward coupon. Customer will have to contact Leprosy Mission Shop Australia via email on shop@leprosymission.org.au for having points reinstate in this case clearly stating all order details and activity evidence.

  • If an order is cancelled or refunded and the points are removed, that order won’t count towards a customer’s VIP tier. This means if a customer reached a VIP tier through a purchase that was later refunded, they may lose their VIP status.

  • If an order is partially refunded, the system will remove points for the refunded portion only. For example -

If a customer buys two products for $40 and $20 and later returns the $20 item, points earned on that $20 are removed, and they keep the points for the $40. If they used a $10 coupon on the $60 order and return the $20 item, they get $16.67 back, so points for $16.67 are removed, and they keep points for the remaining $33.33.

  • Members earn 5 Impact Points for every $1 spent on eligible products, with 1 point valued at $0.01.
If an order is cancelled or refunded, the equivalent points will be deducted from the member’s account based on the current earning rate and rules.
For example, a $50 refund would remove 250 points at a 5-point rate, or 500 points if the rate later changes to 10 points per dollar.
  • The Leprosy Mission Shop Australia reserves the right to adjust or amend points, earning rules and earning rates for points along with rewards at any time.
  • The Leprosy Mission Shop Australia reserves the right to adjust points at any time to correct errors or in cases of suspected misuse.

9. Program Changes or Termination

  • The Leprosy Mission Shop Australia may amend, suspend, or end Impact Rewards at any time without notice.

  • If the program ends, all unused points will be forfeited.

  • The Leprosy Mission Shop Australia reserves the right to modify how points are earned or redeemed, or to cancel a member’s participation for any misuse of the program.

10. Privacy

Your personal information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with The Leprosy Mission Australia’s Privacy Policy, available here.

If a Gift Card and another payment method were used, the refund will first be applied back to the Gift Card. The value redeemed on a Gift Card will be reimbursed onto a new Gift Card code for any returned items paid via this method (less discounts if any) within 3–5 business days once the refund request is processed.
