What a joy to enable a family affected by leprosy or disability to open a small kiosk, with all the supplies and training they need. These small shops sell basic food essentials (e.g. oil, eggs), snacks and drinks in their local communities. In smaller villages where there are not a lot of other shops, the front of these shops often become social hubs for the communities. These small shops are ideal for people whose mobility or hands are affected, as they can set up the shop close to their homes and provide opportunities for social engage when community members gather at their shop.
